CTE Looks to the Future

  • Doctor Andrew Lettes from Pueble Magnet High School wins two prestigious awards: Science Foundation Arizona Innovation Heroes Award and the Michael A. Cusanovich Bioscience Eucator of the Year Award from the Arizona Bioindustry Association.
  • Santa Rita High School will be the next location for the Pima County JTED Central Campus Facility that will include Culinary Arts and Interactive Digital Media. The facility will open for the 2011-2012 school year.

Santa Rita students Danielle Witt and Julia Chacon take time to do a interview during the Tucson Federal Credit Union Eagle Branch grand opening. The girls will be opening accounts and processing deposits and withdrawals for students, teachers and staff while earning credit and an hourly wage.

Teachers change lives according to Pueblo senior Ariana Leyva. Ariana and seven of her classmates volunteer at Rose Elementary as part of their Education Professions class taught by Bonnie Stull.
