Rules and Regulations
TUSD ALTERNATIVE SCHOOLS
Students attending TUSD alternative schools may be eligible
for participation in interscholastic activities. (Not all alternative
schools meet the AIA requirements.) Eligibility should be reviewed
with the Interscholastics Office prior to student participation.
HOME SCHOOLING
Home schooled students may be eligible to participate in interscholastic
activities at the school in their home attendance zone. A copy
of the "Affidavit of Intent" that is filed with the County School
Superintendent's Office must be provided to the school. Reporting
of grades: A notarized copy of the student's grade report must
be submitted to the school at the grade check times. All other
TUSD and AIA eligibility guidelines must be met.
CHARTER SCHOOLS
Students attending a charter school are not allowed to
participate in interscholastic activities at this time.
HOWENSTINE HIGH SCHOOL
Effective 2009-10 school year, Howenstine High School students may be eligible for participation at their home attendance area school, provided all other eligibility requirements are met.
