Step-by-step instructions for filling out the
Business Card online form.

STEP 1: VERY IMPORTANT: If you do not click the form buttons (PREVIEW and SUBMIT) at the bottom of the PREVIEW PAGE and PROOF PAGE, your order WILL NOT be processed. There are detailed instructions on the online form itself, however, sometimes anxious customers overlook these vital steps. DO NOT PRINT THE SCREENS! If you do not recieve a Confirmation Page (with a Confirmation Number) then your order was not submitted successfully. 




STEP 2: Enter your CONTACT INFO. This is who we would contact with any questions. This is NOT information that would be printed on the cards. 



STEP 3: Enter the CARD INFO. This IS the information that will appear on the card. No, all the spaces do NOT need to be filled, but feel free to erase the lines you aren't using as needed. 



STEP 4: If you have any special requests, logos or other information, enter it in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS area. 



STEP 5: Click "PREVIEW THIS CARD WORK ORDER" to proof your cards. A new screen will appear with the data you entered. 



STEP 6: The data you entered will appear and will look something like this: DO NOT PRINT THIS! If your data looks OK, click the SUBMIT button. 



STEP 7: The SUBMIT button at the bottom of the screen will send the data you entered electronically to us at the Print Shop. 





STEP 8: PRINT THIS PAGE! Yes, print it! It will look something like this: 


Failure to print this page and deliver it to the Print Shop will constitute an invalid work order! Once we receive this page (with an ORIGINAL authorized signature) we will fill your order.   

That's all there is to it! The concept is basically the same for the Routing Slip online form. Orders that are not submitted correctly -- including an original & signed Confirmation Page -- will not be filled. 

Please understand that What You See is not necessarily What You Get. Font size/thickness displayed on your computer screen will be scaled down to fit onto a 3½" x 2" card.  Business cards with extremely long lines of information will be resized by the Print Shop at our discretion in order to fit the text onto the card.


Special Billing Orders:

If you choose to pay for your own cards or use a PO#, please write SPECIAL BILLING in the Budget Code field. 

You must still send your Confirmation Page to us.  Even though your order is not required to go through Finance first, we will not begin the order without it.  Occasionally orders are placed but Confirmation Pages are not sent.  

If orders are placed but Confirmation Pages are not sent after a reasonable amount of time, we will assume your order was cancelled by you.  If you forget to send in your Confirmation Page, check your e-mail.  A Confirmation E-mail will be sent following as successfully placed order with a link to your Confirmation page.  Click the link and print the page.

You SHOULD NOT use the online form if your business card is not a standard TUSD business card (ie: double-sided cards, different design) you must submit a Standard Print Shop Work Order (paper form).

A VALID TUSD e-mail address is required.

Fill out online,
PRINT your confirmation page, include an AUTHORIZED signature, and interoffice to the Print Shop.
